Overall he's been the best player, for the playoffs AND for the cup. Consistently i don't think anyone really competes. Zetts has been great vs the stars of pitts, but defensively the teams been week.
I've never seen a stanley cup series with so many odd man rushes, tic tac toe goals and men sitting out front unchecked. The wings defense has been downright terrible for the most part. It's just a matter of them not putting it in the net, osgood, luck, etc...
It's like i've been saying, the wings goaltenders get hung out to dry becuase we don't have that pronger/stevens presence and as good as the forwards are, that isn't going to win you championships. And please don't give me that lindstrom crap. VERY VERY GOOD NFL player, hall of famer lock, but he is NOT a good defender, especially consistently. He goes through defensive laps every game. Having said that, he's still a great player and must half, he's just not the defender some of you think he is.
Osgoog should win it this year.
