One stat that matters for every 2021 NFL first-round draft pick (7. Penei Sewell, OT:  Though he opted out of the 2020 season and had just 707 collegiate pass-blocking reps to his name, there was no questioning the Lions taking Sewell overall, and other teams might regret not taking him earlier. The 6-foot-6, 3125-pound Sewell is an outstanding run-blocker, but it’s as a pass-protector that he sets himself apart. Of his 491 pass-blocking reps in 2019, Sewell had 136 in what PFF categorizes as True Pass Sets (reps without screens, play-action, rollouts, against more than a three-man rush, and between two and four seconds to throw). And in those 136 True Pass Sets — the sets most predictive of future success — Sewell allowed no sacks, one quarterback hit, and one quarterback hurry. Three total pressures, which bodes well for Sewell’s NFL future, and the NFL quarterbacks he’ll be protecting.):  https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/lists/2021-nfl-draft-stats-that-matter-trevor-lawrence-zach-wilson-trey-lance/

Top 25 linebackers in the 2021 NFL season (15. Jamie Collins, Detroit Lions:  Collins has been one of the most versatile defensive players in the league over the past few seasons. Furthermore, in 2020, he played more of a traditional off-ball role than in previous years. His long arms and body type would be best suited to playing more on the edge, but he can also do more than simply survive on the inside.):  https://www.profootballnetwork.com/top-25-linebackers-2021-nfl-season/2/
