Center Rankings: The 32 best players entering the 2021 NFL season (3. FRANK RAGNOW, DETROIT LIONS:  Ragnow stumbled a bit out of the gates in his rookie season with Detroit, particularly as a pass protector (57.1 pass-blocking grade in 2018). However, those rookie snaps came at left guard. Since moving to center — a position where he dominated at Arkansas — Ragnow has steadily risen toward the upper tier of players at the position. His 80.3 overall grade this past season ranked third among all qualifying centers, and it earned him a record-breaking contract this offseason. The arrow is only pointing up for Ragnow as he enters his fourth NFL season.):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-center-rankings-2021-nfl-season

Offensive Tackle Rankings: The 32 best OTs entering the 2021 NFL season (19. TAYLOR DECKER, DETROIT LIONS:  It may have taken him a few years, but Decker is finally back to the level of play from his rookie campaign in 2016. That year, he produced an 81.9 PFF grade that ranked 14th among all tackles and still stands as the seventh-best mark PFF has seen from a rookie. But after Decker missed the first half of 2017, it took him until 2020 to reach the same heights. Last season, he cracked the top 10 in PFF grade with an 82.0 mark that was anchored by the fifth-best pass-blocking grade among tackles.  31. PENEI SEWELL, DETROIT LIONS:  I have all the confidence in the world in Sewell eventually climbing into the top 10 on this list, but we are ranking these tackles based on things as they stand — not the future.  Sewell led the Power Five in big-time blocks in 2019, and the 95.8 PFF grade he earned for his efforts — when he was an 18- and 19-year-old — still stands as the best mark in the PFF College era. He’s like a guided missile with the way he tracks down defenders in space. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the former Oregon Duck face a learning curve, considering he went up against plenty of lackluster competition in the Pac-12 and was in an offense that limited his true one-on-ones, but his long-term potential is stardom.):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-offensive-tackle-rankings-2021-nfl-season

Five NFL quarterbacks at risk of taking a big step backward in 2021: All eyes on Derek Carr, Matt Ryan (Jared Goff:  It's tough to think of a single player who had a bigger downgrade in situation than Goff. He went from throwing to Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, Tyler Higbee, Josh Reynolds, and Van Jefferson, behind an offensive line that ranked second in Football Outsiders' Adjusted Sack Rate, in an offense whose plays were called by Sean McVay, to throwing to Tyrell Williams, Quintez Cephus, Breshad Perriman, Kalif Raymond, and T.J. Hockenson, behind an offensive line that ranked 21st in Adjusted Sack Rate, in an offense whose plays will be called by Anthony Lynn. It seemed clear the past couple years that McVay and the talent around him were propping up Goff's performance. Without that safety net, the bottom could very well fall out. ):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/five-nfl-quarterbacks-at-risk-of-taking-a-big-step-backward-in-2021-all-eyes-on-derek-carr-matt-ryan/

Ranking the seven new NFL head coaches based on their landing spots (5. Dan Campbell, Detroit Lions - There are two significant advantages to coaching the Lions in 2021:  1. Detroit is set up for an exciting 2022 offseason. 2.  With four winning seasons in 20 years and zero playoff wins since 1991, the expectations literally could not be lower.  Enter Campbell, who was wildly popular in the locker room when he served as the Dolphins’ interim coach for the final 12 games of the 2015 season.  The Lions are probably going to be bad this year. They traded away Matthew Stafford and his replacement, Jared Goff, has very little help.  But brighter days are ahead. The Lions have five picks in the first three rounds in 2022 and the Rams’ first-rounders in each of the next two years.  Almost makes one excited enough to bite off a kneecap.):  https://www.profootballnetwork.com/ranking-the-seven-new-nfl-head-coaches-based-on-their-landing-spots/
