Plus, Za’Darius Smith, and Josh Paschal will be in the last year of their contracts in 2025. Here’s a rusher to go with Aidan Hutchinson, Smith, and Paschal. In 2024, Tuimoloau had 12.5 sacks, 61 tackles, two forced fumbles, and three passes batted. He is a solid college player but is not a game-wrecker. Some team sources think Tuimoloau (6-4, 270) could become a pro starter, and others think he is more of a backup. Tuimoloau got red hot in the college football playoff, and that has seen his stock rise into being an early-rounder. Tuimoloau totaled 38 tackles, five sacks and two passes broken in 2023. He did not provide a big edge presence for the Buckeyes. He recorded 28 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble, two interceptions, and two passes broken up in 2022.
60. Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss: The Lions could use a third receiver to go with Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. Harris (6-3, 210) has been one of the most productive receivers in the nation in 2024 despite missing some time with an injury. In 2024, he had 60 catches for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns. Harris is a big wide out that is dangerous on contested catches. Harris had a productive season in 2023 (54-985-8) in his debut with Ole Miss. One thing the injury to Aidan Hutchinson exposed was the lack of pass-rushing depth that is on the roster, which makes Mike Green out of Marshall a potential option towards the end of the first round. Green’s great reps against Ohio State (tremendous bend running the arc and a disgusting spin move for a sack) gave us a glimpse of the potential his 6’4’’, 248-pound frame possesses. Savaiinaea’s pass blocking is ahead of his run game, which may diminish his prospects in the eyes of a roster with one of the league’s top running back tandems. Acquiring Za’Darius Smith from the Browns was smart, but he’ll be 33 years old next season and in the final year of his contract. As a proactive athlete, it’s unfair to have Shemar Stewart’s blend of length, explosiveness, and density. He’s a 6’6”, 290-pound lab-built creation with untapped potential as a pass rusher and an athletic profile we haven’t seen since J.J. Watt. That’s not to say he’ll be Watt; that would be reckless. But he converts speed to power at an outstanding rate, and that is as translatable to the NFL level as pure juice and bend are.
