Hips are a little stiff but his range is above-average, and because he's decently explosive, he can close on the ball in a hurry. Good No. 3 safety with starting upside. -- CT): https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospect-rankings/2018/

Projected Round (2019): 3-5.) - 4/20/19: Harris helped himself at the combine with a faster than expected 40 time. Entering the 2018 season, Lukas Denis was the Boston College safety who had the most buzz, but Harris had the better year and was the one of the pair who earned an invitation to the Senior Bowl. Denis is undersized, while Harris has good size for the NFL. Harris is a true strong safety for the nezt level. As a senior, he totaled 75 tackles with an interception. He recorded 83 tackles and an interception in 2017.): https://walterfootball.com/draft2019S.php

Rotoworld Nystrom S Rankings (13. Will Harris (Boston College) - SPARQ percentile: 83.1. Comp: T.J. Ward (Miller). A fast, rangey mover with the feet of a tap dancer, Harris loves to lay smack against run and hits like a wild man. His basic instincts on routes and tendency to get caught with his hand in the cookie jar watching the backfield -- smart quarterbacks can manipulate him with their eyes -- are going to limit his initial upside on passing downs.): https://www.rotoworld.com/article/evaluations/nfl-draft-s-rankings?page=2

2019 NFL Draft QIB qualifiers: Safeties (Full QIB - Will Harris (Boston College) is a slot safety who can cover tight ends but will make his living in the NFL because of his special teams ability. Lions defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni should be familiar with Harris from his days at Boston College.) Pro-Day Report - Boston College (Safety Will Harris also stood on his outstanding combine numbers, and he too looked terrific in position drills. Harris met with defensive backs coaches from the Cincinnati Bengals, Arizona Cardinals, and New York Giants as well as the Kansas City Chiefs. Harris, who entered the season with a sixth-round grade, could slide into the third round.) (3-21-19): http://draftanalyst.com/pro-day-report-boston-college
2019 NFL Combine Stock Report: Defensive Backs (Up - Will Harris has gotten positive marks for his character traits. He'll now be able to pair those with a strong athletic profile. Harris had a terrific 40 at the combine, sprinting a 4.42. His jumping numbers were fine as well (36.5-inch vertical, 10-3 broad jump), as was his 3-cone time of 6.91.) Who and what to watch at the 2019 NFL Combine: Safety (Will Harris, Boston College. Suggested by: Matt Urben - Another box safety/hang defender type who can cover tight ends, Harris could develop into a role as a 2 deep safety, but lacks the range to play single-high. His impactfulness as a run stuffer translates over to special teams where he excels. At the Combine, keep an eye on his click-and-close abilities as they will need to improve if he hopes to find the field on defense.) 2019 Senior Bowl: Standouts from Thursday's practices (S Will Harris | Boston College: The safeties were a bit underwhelming throughout the week, and there wasn’t a clear cut player that separated themselves from one another. That’s until Harris emerged Thursday, showcasing strong man coverage ability and the range in seven-on-seven drills on occasion, too. On one play, Harris was lined up across from Massachusetts wide receiver Andy Isabella and jumped the slant route for a beautiful interception during the passing drills. There will be questions surrounding whether he suits best at strong or free safety at the next level, but whichever team drafts him will have a toolsy player with speed, length and size.) BC safety Will Harris had a great combine and has a lot of upside. Should find a role on a team. He's always flying to the ball. Comes across the formation with the slide route and takes away a first down. (3-20-19): https://twitter.com/ezlazar/status/1108441693169295360

2019 NFL draft: Top prospects to watch in First Responder Bowl (S Will Harris: Will Harris is more prototypical-sized. Like Denis, he has also been very productive while at Boston College. He has 225 career tackles with five interceptions and six fumble recoveries. Harris is a superior run defender right now that has sideline to sideline range. He can range out of his peddle to defender perimeter sweeps and run the alley to fill interior run gaps. Harris can deliver a thump at the point of attack and actually shows good short are quickness to slip around blockers. Harris will have some trouble in coverage at the next level. His hips are a little tight and he’s much better when breaking forward. He technical coaching to get up to speed. Sample could sneak somewhere in the middle of Day 2.) 2019 NFL Draft Stock - Week 15 (Up - Will Harris, S, Boston College: Entering the 2018 season, Lukas Denis was the Boston College safety who had the most buzz, but Harris is putting together the better season and was the one of the pair who earned an invitation to the Senior Bowl. Denis is undersized, while the 6-foot-2, 210-pound Harris has good size for the NFL. As a senior, Harris has 75 tackles with an interception. He totaled 83 tackles and an interception in 2018. In Mobile, Harris needs to demonstrate pass-coverage skills to help his draft stock.) (12-11-18): http://walterfootball.com/draft2019stock_15.php
Scouting the ACC – Boston College (Safety Will Harris reminds me of former Boston College product John Johnson. He plays with great intellect, shows a feel for coverage and rarely has mental lapses on the field. Johnson lacks elite speed but takes great angles and is very efficient getting to the action.)
