Every NFL team's most improved player in 2020 (DETROIT LIONS: EDGE ROMEO OKWARA:  Perhaps the drafting of his younger brother, Julian Okwara, sparked something in Romeo, because his pass-rushing performance in 2020 was leaps and bounds ahead of anything he was able to do in the first four years of his career with both New York and Detroit.  Okwara finished the season with 61 quarterback pressures (tied for ninth-most in the NFL) after never clearing 40 in any previous campaign. In a similar vein, his pass-rushing grade of 85.4 was a top-10 mark at the position. Okwara’s previous career high was just 58.3 in 2019. It’s always risky trying to evaluate a pass rusher entering free agency on an outlier season like the one Okwara just had, and that’s exactly the task the new front office and coaching staff is left with this offseason.):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-every-nfl-teams-most-improved-player-in-2020

The PFF 101: Highlighting the top 101 players from the 2020 NFL season (72. T TAYLOR DECKER, DETROIT LIONS:  One of the most solid pass-blocking left tackles in the game, Taylor Decker was again excellent in that regard in 2020. He allowed just two sacks over almost 700 pass blocking snaps for the Lions this season and posted the second-best PFF run-blocking grade of his career. Decker had three perfect games of pass protection on the season.  73. QB MATTHEW STAFFORD, DETROIT LIONS:  In what turned out to be his final season in Detroit, Matthew Stafford nearly backed up his career-best play from last season, but the production was down because the offense was significantly less aggressive. Stafford finished the season with 32 big-time throws and will hope that those throws can unleash something special in Los Angeles next season.  88. C FRANK RAGNOW, DETROIT LIONS:  Frank Ragnow has improved each season of his NFL career, and 2020 was his best yet. He earned an overall PFF grade of 80.3 and didn’t allow a sack all season. Overall, he was in pass protection for 609 snaps and surrendered only nine total pressures. Ragnow also had a PFF run-blocking grade above 80. If he takes another step forward again this offseason, 2021 could be special.):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-best-101-players-from-the-2020-nfl-season

2021 NFL Draft:

2021 NFL Draft: Early- and late-round fits for all 32 NFL teams' biggest positional needs (DETROIT LIONS: WIDE RECEIVER
Early-Round Fit: Jaylen Waddle, Alabama.  Later-Round Fit: Cade Johnson, South Dakota State.  Even if the Lions keep Kenny Golladay, they desperately need some speed to open up the offense. Waddle has that in a big way, and so does Johnson. The South Dakota State product earned the highest grade of any receiver in the one-on-ones at the Senior Bowl and could sneak into Day 2.):  https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2021-nfl-draft-early-late-round-fits-all-32-nfl-teams-needs#DET
