NFL quarterback kryptonite: The biggest weaknesses for all 32 of the 2020 starting QBs (DETROIT LIONS - Matthew Stafford (Biggest weakness: Consistency):  The word “consistency” is often a cop-out and simply synonymous with “good,” but Stafford's highs are so high, it's tantalizing. The best Stafford is a modern-day quarterback with the ability to create chunk plays both inside and outside of structure. The arm talent is always on display in high-end Stafford games, as he puts best-in-the-world type of throws on tape. The problem is that this shows up only a handful of times every season, and Stafford's inability to string these kinds of performances together has kept him closer to the middle of the pack among the league's signal-callers than with the perennial top-10 options.):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-quarterback-kryptonite-the-biggest-weaknesses-for-all-32-of-the-2020-starting-qbs#DET

QB Index: Rock bottom for Wentz? Jackson exits top 3 (19. Stafford:  Stafford won't get statistical credit for his best throw versus Arizona, a 60-yard rainbow nullified by a holding penalty on the game-winning drive. The Lions' offense has been inconsistent through three weeks, ranking 22nd in Drive Success Rate and 23rd in yards per drive (32.15).):  https://www.nfl.com/news/qb-index-week-4-how-low-will-carson-wentz-go

Ranking all 32 NFL offensive lines after Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season (12. DETROIT LIONS (Pressures allowed: 28.  Rush yards before contact average: 1.4):  The best player on Detroit’s offensive line so far has been Taylor Decker, who has backed up the contract extension he recently signed with play that would put him on course for a career year. Decker has yet to surrender a sack and has allowed just five hurries through three games, including performances against legitimate pass-rushers.  Frank Ragnow has continued his emergence as one of the best young centers in the league, and rookie Jonah Jackson has been a pleasant surprise at one of the guard spots. If the Lions could get improved play at the other one, this line could quickly jump into the top 10.):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-ranking-all-32-offensive-lines-week-3-2020-nfl-season

NFL Rookie Rankings 2020: Week 3’s top rookies (11. Jeff Okudah, CB, Detroit Lions
People will question this ranking due to the perception that Okudah has been “bad” in his first two games. However, Okudah faced arguably the two best wide receivers in the NFL, not an easy task for any corner, let alone someone playing their first two career games.  While I can concede that Okudah was bad against the Packers in Week 2, I don’t think he was an overall negative against the Cardinals. He looked like he belonged, and he registered two tackles for loss, an interception, and a pass deflection. Okudah was my third-ranked player for a reason, the Lions fans dubbing him a bust already are misinformed and downright foolish.  16. Jonah Jackson, iOL, Detroit Lions
I tried to tell people that Jonah Jackson was destined to be an above-average NFL player from the get-go, and so few wanted to listen. His combination of power, motor, and technique made it as easy a projection as they come. He might never be the best guard in football, but he’ll be a damn good player for the majority of his career.):  https://www.profootballnetwork.com/rookie-rankings-week-4-2020/2/

Monson: Rookie studs and duds following NFL Week 3 (Duds - CB, JEFFREY OKUDAH, DETROIT LIONS (Week 3 overall grade: 35.7):  Jeffrey Okudah is being welcomed to the NFL by a trial by fire. After being put in a blender by Davante Adams and the Green Bay Packers offense last week, he had to contend with the combination of DeAndre Hopkins and Kyler Murray this week.  Needless to say, things didn’t go much better than a week ago. Okudah surrendered 79 yards on five catches into his coverage, though he did get one back with an interception. He also had to try and stop Murray in the open field. Down in the shadow of his own goal line, he had a one-on-one shot at Murray and was left grasping at air as the quarterback scampered past him into the end zone for a touchdown.):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-rookie-studs-and-duds-following-nfl-week-3

Week 4 QB Power Rankings: Allen rises (16. Stafford:  After a much-needed game-winning drive in Week 3, Stafford is primed for a rise back up the board. The arm is still there. He's just got to be smart, as he was for much of Detroit's recent upset. The Lions absolutely need him at his best if they want to avoid another slide into conversations about Matt Patricia's future.  Last week: 17):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/week-4-nfl-qb-power-rankings-patrick-mahomes-leapfrogs-lamar-jackson-josh-allen-climbs-in-top-10/

Week 4 QB Power Rankings: Allen rises (14. Stafford:  Matthew Stafford is just better in the fourth quarter. I haven’t quite figured out why it takes him the whole game to start dealing, but for the first time in 2020, it paid off. The turnover concerns remain, but Stafford never lets the setback linger.
