Promising UDFAs who made NFL rosters after the 2024 preseason (WR Isaiah Williams, Detroit Lions - While the Lions have a relatively complete roster, they do need help at wide receiver. Undrafted free agent Isaiah Williams might be part of the solution.  The Illinois product played 78 snaps over three preseason games and earned a 73.8 PFF overall grade, which ranked 31st out of 248 qualifying wide receivers. His 11 receptions were the fifth most at the position, and he averaged 2.24 receiving yards per route run — the 10th-best mark among 57 wide receivers who were targeted at least 10 times this preseason.):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-promising-undrafted-free-agents-nfl-rosters-2024-preseason

Bold predictions for all 32 NFL teams in 2024 (Detroit Lions: TEAM WINS THE SUPER BOWL - It’s been a long time. The Lions’ franchise won an NFL Championship in 1957. However, they are the only team that has been in the league since the Super Bowl Era that not only does not have a Lombardi Trophy but hasn’t even made it to the big game.  That drought will end this year. The Lions are built for it.  They have spent the past four years crafting the roster to their talent and culture expectations. They have one of the best play-caller-quarterback combos in the league with some of the top passing options at each position, one of the best offensive lines and a defense that is improved and ready to get them over the top.):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-bold-predictions-all-32-nfl-teams-2024

2024 NFC win-total projections: Eagles, 49ers sit atop conference; Bears, Seahawks just miss playoffs (Detroit Lions - Wins:  10.7.  PROJECTED NFC NORTH CHAMPIONS.  Ceiling: 13.0.  Floor: 8.8.  FanDuel over/under: 10.5.  According to Next Gen Stats, Jared Goff had the highest touchdown-to-interception ratio (31:4) and second-highest passer rating (116.3) when not pressured last season, including the playoffs. That pairs quite nicely with Detroit boasting the NFL's highest-ranked offensive line -- not just according to my win-share metric, but per PFF, too.  The Lions have finished in the top five in scoring and total offense during each of the past two seasons, and they return a large number of key components on that side of the ball. So, what's with the significant range between the ceiling and floor results? This is driven by uncertainty around this remade defense, specifically the secondary. Detroit's cornerback group has a high ceiling, but with a pair of rookies in line for snaps (Terrion Arnold and Ennis Rakestraw Jr.), it's a volatile unit to project.):  https://www.nfl.com/news/2024-nfc-win-total-projections-eagles-49ers-sit-atop-conference-bears-seahawks-just-miss-playoffs

2024 Preseason All-NFL Team: Jets' Breece Hall among top 53 players entering new season (WR - Amon-Ra St. Brown (Lions) -- 5 votes, TE - Sam LaPorta (Lions) -- 6 votes, OT - Penei Sewell (Lions) -- 7 votes, DE - T-Aidan Hutchinson (Lions), Danielle Hunter (Texans) -- 3 votes):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2024-preseason-all-nfl-team-jets-breece-hall-among-top-53-players-entering-new-season/

Ceiling and floor for all 32 NFL teams for 2024 (Detroit Lions  - Ceiling: 13-4, reach Super Bowl.  This year may be the Lions best chance to win a championship since 1957, the last time they won a title. Detroit has a franchise quarterback in Jared Goff, who is playing behind one of the best offensive lines in the league (Penei Sewell may be the best tackle). Jahmyr Gibbs will only get better at running back in his second season and has David Montgomery with him. Amon-Ra St. Brown is one of the best wideouts in the game and Sam LaPorta is already a top-10 tight end. If Jameson Williams lives up to his first-round talent, the Lions offense may be the best in the NFC. They may be the team to beat in the NFC.   Floor: 10-7, lose in wild card round.  As loaded as the Lions are on offense, there are questions about the defense. Aidan Hutchinson is a star pass rusher, but are Marcus Davenport and Alim McNeill enough to compliment him on the defensive front? Carlton Davis and rookie Terrion Arnold can be a dangerous duo at cornerback, while safety Brian Branch has the makings of a future All-Pro. Jack Campbell was a welcome addition at linebacker as a rookie, yet is there enough depth? If the talent comes together, Detroit can be a very tough out. There are a lot of questions to be answered with this defense.):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/ceiling-floor-for-all-32-nfl-teams-for-2024-chiefs-lions-primed-for-super-bowl-49ers-eagles-challengers/
