The best offseason move for all 16 NFC teams (DETROIT LIONS - SIGNING CB MIKE HUGHES:  Hughes shined in Kansas City after he was traded along with a 2022 seventh-round pick before the season by the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a 2022 sixth-round pick. The former first-round pick set career-highs across the board, with a 78.8 coverage grade and six pass breakups playing almost exclusively on the outside.  With 2020 No. 3 overall pick cornerback Jeff Okudah recovering from a torn achilles and 2021 undrafted free agent cornerback Jerry Jacobs — PFF’s highest-graded undrafted rookie last season — recovering from a torn ACL, the addition of Hughes will go a long way early in the season opposite Amani Oruwariye. When Okudah and Jacobs return, Hughes has experience playing in the slot and on the outside, as well as playing a lot of zone concepts and heavy press-man. So he can potentially be deployed wherever needed in a secondary that needs to improve in 2022.):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-best-offseason-move-all-16-nfc-teams-2022

Using coverage mistakes to identify player and position value for NFL defenses (COVERAGE MESS-UPS BY TEAM - The Detroit Lions’ secondary has struggled in recent years, and their safeties and cornerbacks were in the bottom five in terms of messing up in coverage and getting beat by receivers. Their 2020 first-round pick Jeff Okudah, who currently messes up in coverage 20% of the time, can potentially help out this weaker secondary if he steps up and stays healthy.):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-using-coverage-mistakes-to-identify-single-player-and-positions-value-to-an-nfl-defense

Ranking 2022 NFL divisions by QBs: AFC West, AFC North boast the most star power under center (3. NFC North: The big-win hunters (Aaron Rodgers (Packers), Kirk Cousins (Vikings), Justin Fields (Bears), Jared Goff (Lions)):  Rodgers and Cousins couldn't be more different in terms of career heights, but both vets are eager (desperate?) to get over their respective humps. A-Rod, still one of the most accurate and confident throwers in the NFL, is 0-4 in NFC title games since winning it all in 2010. Cousins, who's far more efficient and big-play-oriented than he gets credit for, has a single playoff win in 10 years. Still, any team would take Rodgers for a championship run, and most would trust Cousins for top-12 production. Fields has the makeup of a thrilling dual threat, but his lowly supporting cast may not help him grow as a decision-maker. Goff, meanwhile, has proven to be almost exclusively as effective as his surroundings.):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/ranking-2022-nfl-divisions-by-qbs-afc-west-afc-north-boast-the-most-star-power-under-center/
