NFL quarterback tiers: Examining Sando's rankings for 2022 (Tier 3 - Tier 3 included quarterbacks who are a legitimate starter but need a strong running game and/or defense to compete. A lower-volume drop-back passing offense suits these quarterbacks in this tier best.  At the top of the third tier — the largest of Sando's tiers — was Kirk Cousins at No. 15, followed by Jimmy Garoppolo, Ryan Tannehill, Mac Jones, Baker Mayfield, Jalen Hurts and Carson Wentz (T-20), Jared Goff, Trevor Lawrence and Jameis Winston, in that order.):  https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/nfl-quarterback-tiers-examining-mike-sandos-rankings-for-2022

Every NFL team's most underrated player heading into 2022 (Detroit Lions: LT Taylor Decker - Decker rarely gets mentioned with the top tier of offensive tackles. His play in the last two seasons indicates Decker definitely belongs in that listing. He’s allowed just three sacks in the last two seasons and does so despite almost never getting extra help from a tight end. The penalties that dogged his earlier career have diminished too, and Decker remains one of the better people-moving left tackles in the run game. – Jeff Risdon, Lions Wire):  https://draftwire.usatoday.com/lists/nfl-underrated-players-2022-ezekiel-elliott-darnell-mooney/

Ranking the NFL’s worst-to-first contenders for 2022 (4. Detroit Lions:  The Lions will play hard for Dan Campbell — we know this. New pass catchers DJ Chark and Jameson Williams, plus an underrated offensive line, should give Detroit a solid floor on offense. Can Jared Goff and first-year offensive coordinator Ben Johnson elevate the unit enough to turn the Lions into a serious contender?  The Lions are probably a year away from finding their franchise quarterback and turning those playoff aspirations into realities. Detroit is an interesting dark-horse contender for a Wild Card berth, but they’d need the Packers to take a meaningful step back in order to grasp the NFC North title.):  https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-worst-to-first-contenders-2022/
