One reason for optimism for every team ahead of the 2025 NFL season (Detroit Lions: Aidan Hutchinson’s return.- Before suffering a season-ending injury in Week 6 last season, Hutchinson was on his way to a historic performance. Through not even five full games, he led the NFL with 45 pressures, eight sacks, a 95.0 PFF pass-rush grade and an incredible 38.3% pass-rush win rate.  Hutchinson's injury was the primary reason the Lions saw a large decrease in pass-rush production down the stretch. 2025 NFL All-Breakout Team: Predicting football’s new top players at every position (Guard: Christian Mahogany, Detroit Lions - After the Lions lost the aforementioned Zeitler to Tennessee, the team’s depth at guard took a hit. Nonetheless, Detroit can still be comfortable with the state of the position given how Mahogany performed as a rookie.  The former sixth-round pick wowed in limited time in 2024, registering a 91.5 overall PFF grade on 144 snaps between left and right guard. Mahogany slotted in the 99th percentile in PFF pass-blocking grade on true pass sets as well as the 97th percentile in negatively graded run-blocking play rate, revealing his well-rounded abilities.  Detroit will be without two members of its starting IOL from a year ago in light of Frank Ragnow’s retirement, and GM Brad Holmes seems to have made it clear that Mahogany and rookie Tate Ratledge will be in for sizable workloads. Sleeper NFC rookies who could shine during 2025 season (Detroit Lions: OG Miles Frazier - Drafted: Round 5 (No. 171 overall). Impressive stat to know: 13 pressures allowed on 579 pass-blocking snaps at LSU in 2024.  Frazier is the classic SEC mauler at guard bound for a starting gig sooner than later. And sooner than later we'll be wondering why he was a fifth-round selection.
