Remaining Starter Needs: EDGE.  Remaining Depth/Future Needs: G, WR.  Detroit re-signed Marcus Davenport to a one-year deal to fill the other edge rusher spot next to Aidan Hutchinson, but the former Saint has never played more than 550 snaps in a single season. Effectively, the Lions need an every-down presence next to Hutchinson, who himself is recovering from a season-ending injury.  Following Kevin Zeitler‘s departure, the Lions appear ready to hand over the right guard keys to Christian Mahogany, who thrived there (91.5 PFF overall grade) on only 77 snaps in 2024. But given Mahogany’s inexperience and Graham Glasgow’s woes (57.2 PFF overall grade), Detroit would be smart to invest at guard. 2024 NFL Draft Re-Grades: Picks 17-32 (Detroit Lions: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama – A+ Grade.  One-Year Grade: C+ Grade.  Terrion Arnold had some coverage issues as a rookie. He had some good games, but struggled while defending receivers for the most part. He was at least good in run support and barely missed any tackles, so there were some positives.  Original Write-up:  I bet the Lions were absolutely shocked that Terrion Arnold was still on the board at No. 24. He wasn’t going to last until No. 29, so I like Detroit moving up five spots to land someone who was considered the top cornerback in the draft by some.
