The state of each division after the 2025 NFL Draft (NFC North - 1. Detroit Lions.  2. Minnesota Vikings.  3. Green Bay Packers.  4. Chicago Bears.  The order of the NFC North stays the same for now, but this could be the most competitive division in the NFL in 2025.  Detroit still has a loaded roster and added to its talented trench units by selecting defensive tackle Tyleik Williams and guard Tate Ratledge. Free-agent cornerback D.J. Reed was also a massive addition to the secondary. Assuming Aidan Hutchinson and Alim McNeill return to full health, the Lions’ defense could be dangerous. Their biggest obstacle, though, will be the loss of both of their coordinators.  J.J. McCarthy missed all of 2024 with a knee injury, but he is set up to succeed in Minnesota. The Vikings’ offensive weakness last season was interior pass protection. They responded by adding free agents Ryan Kelly and Will Fries and selecting Ohio State guard Donovan Jackson in the first round of the draft. They also bolstered their interior pass rush with Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave, who should improve a defensive tackle unit that ranked 29th in PFF pass-rush grade.  The Bears finished a distant fourth in the division last season but appear to have closed the gap significantly after a busy offseason. They overhauled their offensive line with guard Joe Thuney and center Drew Dalman, who both ranked among the top seven players at their positions in PFF overall grade last season. But Dan Jackson, the walk-on-turned-starter for Georgia, can be a special teams eraser and fill in as a rotational safety for Detroit. 2025 NFL Draft: Best pick made by all 32 teams (Detroit Lions - Offensive guard Miles Frazier is the wide, nasty blocker born to play in Detroit for Dan Campbell's team. He's over 6-foot-5 and 317 pounds, so there's probably room for him to add 10 pounds to his frame to become a masher in the NFL like he was at LSU the past few seasons. After some losses along the offensive line this offseason, this was a prudent choice for the Lions, and getting Frazier in Round 6 represented magnificent value. 2025 NFL Draft Winners and Losers: Day 2 (Second-Day Losers -  Detroit Lions::  Tate Ratledge, G, Georgia.  Isaac TeSlaa, WR, Arkansas .  Under general manager Brad Holmes, the Lions have been one of the best drafting teams in the NFL, and that has been proven with Detroit going from one of the worst teams in the league to one of the best. However, the Lions have lost some of their top scouts this offseason, and in 2024, as other teams have promoted and poached talent from the Detroit front office. I think those losses were felt on day two of the 2025 NFL Draft. Ratledge had a great workout, but his 2024 tape was not impressive, and the Bulldogs’ line played better when Ratledge was out with injury and replaced by Micah Morris.  TeSlaa was an okay pick in the third round, but the Lions traded two 2026 third-round picks to move up for him. TeSlaa has a good skill set, but he was not dominant in college. He only had three touchdowns last season, and two of them came against Louisiana Tech. TeSlaa better become a damn good starting receiver to justify having three third-round picks invested in him. It feels like Holmes is overthinking and trying to outsmart everyone, and that can be a dangerous approach in the NFL Draft.):  https://walterfootball.com/draft2025winnerslosers2.php
