2020 QB Power Rankings: Dak cracks top 5 (10. Matthew Stafford: The opinions are often varied when it comes to Stafford, who's never won a playoff game and is fresh off a back fracture that cost him half the 2019 season. But if you need a guy who can sling it, he's your guy. On an MVP pace prior to his injury, Stafford has the arm and guts to win any shootout, and this year he's got an underrated offense around him.): https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-2020-qb-power-rankings-patrick-mahomes-lamar-jackson-dak-prescott-crack-top-five-to-open-season/

He also has Matt Stafford winning comeback player of the year.): https://www.si.com/nfl/2020/09/09/2020-nfl-season-predictions-mvp-super-bowl
Longshot Lounge: Russell Wilson winning MVP headlines plausible 2020 scenarios (Detroit doesn’t have a Top 40 running back
Maybe this isn’t especially bold, given that Detroit currently has three backs jostling for position. I suppose it’s my way of saying I think Adrian Peterson has something left in the tank, and yet we know he’ll rarely catch the ball. When it comes to the Lions, I’m willing to bet on Matthew Stafford and his three primary pass catchers; all of them have fair ADPs. But I’ll leave the backfield for you.): https://sports.yahoo.com/longshot-lounge-russell-wilson-winning-mvp-headlines-plausible-2020-scenarios-163932469.html
32 teams, 32 Super Bowl scenarios: Barnwell makes the case for every team (26. Detroit Lions (Chance to win Super Bowl LV: 0.1%, Chance to make the playoffs: 16.9%, Caesars' Super Bowl odds: +6000): With Detroit a trendy pick to win the NFC North, I'm already on record as suggesting the Lions will improve in 2020. Back in January, I laid out the similarities between the Lions and last year's 49ers, a team that I projected as likely to improve before the season. To make a deep playoff run, the Lions need to turn around a defense that has ranked 21st and 23rd in its first two seasons under coach Matt Patricia, and even that was with now-traded cornerback Darius Slay. Detroit could have as many as six new starters on defense, and while I'm skeptical that Patricia's plan of stocking up on Patriots players Bill Belichick didn't want to keep is a great idea, those guys could still be an upgrade on what the Lions rolled out a year ago. If the defense can just improve to adequate, some better luck in the fourth quarter and the return of Matthew Stafford could push the Lions into the nine- to 10-win range, which could be enough to win the NFC North.): https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/page/billbarnwell090920/the-case-all-32-nfl-teams-make-super-bowl-lv-2020-season-jags-chiefs#DET
