QB Rankings: Mayfield makes a big leap (18.  Matthew Stafford:  The clock almost has to be ticking on his departure, right? The Lions' best path forward, beyond 2020, is probably to reboot the offense, complete with an auction of Stafford and a hunt for a new QB for the long haul.):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/week-15-nfl-qb-power-rankings-baker-mayfield-makes-a-big-leap-ben-roethlisberger-slides-out-of-top-10/

QB Power Rankings 2020 Week 15: Hurts makes immediate impact, Ryan freefalls (20 – Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions (Season: 13 GP | 270.9 YPG (8th) | 63.9% (T-22nd) | 6.6 avg CAY (T-7th) | 4.8 TD% (18th) | 1.9 INT% (T-10th) | 24.94 OVM (12th) | 91 rush yards (25th) | 0 rush TDs (T-28th)):  Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions respectfully battled (quite possibly) the best team in the NFC. For 52 minutes, the Lions either led, tied or trailed the Packers by one possession. But as we all know, it’s a 60-minute football game, and Stafford and company couldn’t keep stride with Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. Stafford wasn’t even able to finish the game in the literal sense. It appears his rib injury could’ve been worse, but what is reportedly a rib cartilage tear may hold him out of Week 15, which is too bad. Week 14 was a respectable outing for Stafford, who totaled 250 yards, one touchdown, and no turnovers. If he can’t go, Chase Daniel will take over the huddle.):  https://www.profootballnetwork.com/qb-power-rankings-2020/2/

NFL Rumors & Draft News: The latest in the head coach carousel (Are you hearing anything about the Lions’ plans to fill their front office and head coaching vacancies?
As I first reported at the start of December, San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh is at the top of the Lions’ list. In fact, days after I reported that Saleh headed the list of head coaching candidates during The Draft Insiders podcast, legislators from the state of Michigan petitioned Lions owner Sheila Ford Hamp to hire him. I doubt there’s a connection, but it tells you how much people inside and out want Saleh.  I continue to hear it will be Saleh and someone he is comfortable with as general manager.):  https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-rumors-draft-news-the-latest-in-the-head-coach-carousel/

NFL Pro Bowl 2021: PFF's selections for NFC, AFC Pro Bowl rosters (Tight End - TJ Hovkenson:  The big production at tight end comes from the AFC, but T.J. Hockenson has been impressive for the Lions this season in his own right, generating a passer rating when targeted of 97.3.  Center - Ragnow:  Meanwhile, Ragnow has been a much-improved player for the Lions and is steadily an excellent player inside. The Lions center has allowed nine pressures all year and has grades north of 74.0 as both a run-blocker and pass-blocker.  Punter - Jack Fox):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-pro-bowl-2021-pffs-selections-for-nfc-afc-pro-bowl-rosters
