SN Bender (Carolina Panthers at Green Bay Packers (-8.5):  Detroit Lions at Tennessee Titans (-8.5):  Matthew Stafford's status is uncertain after an injury suffered in the fourth quarter against the Packers, and the Lions rank 29th against the run (132.9). This should be another big-time performance for Derrick Henry. SN Iyer (Lions at Titans (-8.5, 51.5 o/u):  The Lions have a terrible run defense and that immediately destroys their chances of success against Derrick Henry. Ryan Tannehill will use his back to keep making the typical big pass plays off play-action. CBS Prisco (Detroit Lions at Tennessee:  The Lions are hoping that Matt Stafford can play in this one with his injured ribs. If he can't, it will be Chase Daniel. Whoever plays will have success throwing it against the Titans defense. The problem is the Titans will score even more. 1 p.m. ET (CBS):  This game feels pretty unfair. The Titans are currently -10.5 in some spots, but that number is going to swing wildly depending on what the status of Matthew Stafford ends up being. If he plays, maybe it stays the same, and the Titans are a smash spot because the Lions have no defense, everyone on the Lions is banged up and Stafford could be pulled to save his long-term health. Frank Ragnow, Detroit's starting center, is playing with a FRACTURED THROAT. That's some wild stuff.  It's pretty unreal how gutty the Lions are -- it's unfortunate they didn't get it to lay it on the line until after Matt Patricia was fired. This could have been a good team. But it might be too late with everything they've dealt with. Matthew Stafford suffered a nasty rib injury while center Frank Ragnow broke his throat. Amazingly enough, they both could play here, though I wouldn’t count on Stafford. Even if they do, the dismal Detroit defense can’t stop Derrick Henry or A.J. Brown or Corey Davis. I know Mike Vrabel wants Derrick Henry to get 2,000 yards, but this looks like a game in which the Titans won't need him that much. O'HARA'S FINAL THOUGHTS: Gameday a new experience for Chris Spielman (Prediction: Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill does more than hand off to Derrick Henry and not make mistakes. That was pretty much his role when he took over for the last 10 games last season, and in the playoffs. He's given the Titans a passing threat, with 28 TD passes.  It's a lot for the Lions to handle, who've had to finish the season under interim head coach Darrell Bevell with major injuries at key places.
