PFF projected contract: Three years, $45.75 million ($15.25 million per year), $29.75 million total guaranteed.  Reader is still recovering from the torn quadriceps he suffered in Week 15, but he has publicly discussed how the recovery process has been better than the last time he suffered the same injury, and it’s clear he is far enough along for Detroit to be comfortable making this addition.  That said, the $9 million guarantee suggests this could be a one-year flier with less cash owed in 2024 and then a big jump up in 2025 if things go well, which is why Reader would agree to a second year on the contract. 2024 Arkansas and Ferris State Pro Day notes: Beaux Limmer draft stock rises (Arkansas:  Cornerback Dwight - McGlothern completed the broad jump and participated in position drills. Scouts were impressed with McGlothern’s improved tackling and support in run defense last season. McGlothern is a long (6-foot-1.5) corner who is being closely watched by the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions.  Ferris State/MSU:  Cornerback Shon Stephens of Ferris State was the star of the day, at Michigan State’s pro day!Stephens, the nephew of Joey Porter, intercepted eight passes last season. He measured 5-foot-8.5 and 173 pounds. He timed as fast as 4.40 in the 40 and 6.97 in the three-cone and touched 36.5 inches in the vertical jump.
