Grading all 32 first-round picks after Week 6 of the 2020 NFL season (PICK NO. 3: CB JEFFREY OKUDAH, DETROIT LIONS (2020 overall grade: 37.8):  Jeffrey Okudah returned from his bye week and had a much more assured performance against D.J. Chark and the Jacksonville offense. Week 7 NFL Rookie Power Rankings: Joe Burrow re-claims top spot, Justin Jefferson soars (8. Jonah Jackson:  Jonah Jackson has been an anchor on the Detroit offensive line. He does a good job getting to the second level and was responsible for the blocks that allowed rookie D'Andre Swift to squeeze into the end zone. Devin Bush injury: Three inside linebackers Steelers should consider trading for before the deadline (Jarrad Davis for a 2021 fifth-round pick:  Pittsburgh brought Davis in for a pre-draft visit in 2017 before the Lions took him with the 21st overall pick. Tomlin loved Davis coming out of Florida, according to The Athletic's Ed Bouchette, which could lead to the Steelers working out a trade that brings him to Pittsburgh.  Despite some early success in Detroit, the Lions declined to pick up his fifth-year option, meaning that Davis will be a free agent this offseason. He is just two years removed from a 2018 season that saw him tally 100 tackles, six sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Davis, who has been used more in Detroit as a pass rusher, has proven to hold his own when it comes to pass coverage. Ravens get: WR Marvin Jones (Lions get: 2021 sixth-round draft pick, 2022 seventh-round pick):  The Lions can't really expect much more for Jones at this point in his career, but the Ravens can certainly afford to surrender a few late-rounders if it means giving Lamar Jackson someone other than Marquise Brown as an option out wide. When you're run-based and have Lamar Jackson, Willie Snead and Devin Duvernay and Miles Boykin will pass. But Baltimore is aiming for a title. Does Jones bring that closer? Not by much, if at all. Debrief: Teams that lifted or sank their seasons in Week 6 (2. The Lions aren't dead. Sunday's 34-16 win over the Jaguars was a sign the Lions could beat bad teams, and there are a lot of bad teams on their upcoming schedule, with Atlanta (Week 7), Minnesota (Week 9) and Washington (Week 10) all coming up on the docket by mid-November. The ghastly way in which the Lions have coughed up leads makes it feel like they've lost more than three games this season, but I promise it says 2-3 in the official standings, with the 1-5 Falcons up next. The bright side: Detroit has been good enough to lead by double digits at one point in every game except its Week 3 win over the Cardinals.  And while convincingly defeating a hapless Jacksonville outfit will not instantly turn the Lions' season around, it's worth thinking about the potential fallout of the opposite result. If Detroit had lost with a listless defensive effort, coach Matt Patricia would possibly have been fired amid chatter that he'd "lost the locker room." The reality on the field Sunday showed something different, with incredible energy and something close to domination from the Lions' defense from the first snap. Patricia's zone scrambled Gardner Minshew's brain, with the Jaguars held to 3 points until late in the third quarter and 4.5 yards per play for the entire game.  The Lions will not stay relevant unless Matthew Stafford plays better, but the offense had more juice Sunday with Kenny Golladay's legs finally all the way back after he missed time with a hamstring injury and second-round pick D'Andre Swift making a pair of big plays at running back. MAQB: Kyle Shanahan's Game Plan Helped Jimmy G. (The Lions defense came together on Sunday in a way it hadn’t before—choking out an opponent it had down—and it’s worth mentioning that three players Matt Patricia imported from Foxboro had a big hand in it and wound up grading out exceptionally well. Trey Flowers, Jamie Collins and Duron Harmon all played more than 70% of Detroit’s defensive snaps. Flowers had a sack, Harmon had a pick and Collins finished second on the team with seven tackles, and had a pressure and pass defensed on top of it.
