Handing out holiday report cards for rookie WRs: Ja'Marr Chase, Jaylen Waddle, Elijah Moore headline group (Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions.  Draft status: 17th receiver (Round 4, 112th overall).  Stat to know: Fourth in NFL in catches over past four weeks.  Report card grade: B-.  St. Brown felt like a relatively high-floor prospect, or someone who could overcome his lack of starting receiver speed because he was such a crisp route runner and had experience navigating the entire route tree at USC.  He didn't have his first five-plus-catch outing until October. Since then, St. Brown has only had one contest with fewer than four receptions. And he's registered 26 grabs in his past three. The former Trojans star is rounding into form as a valuable possession slot receiver in Detroit.):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/handing-out-holiday-report-cards-for-rookie-wrs-jamarr-chase-jaylen-waddle-elijah-moore-headline-group/

The NFL's most egregious Pro Bowl snubs in 2021 (Amani Oruwariye, CB, Detroit Lions - Why he belongs: The Lions stole Oruwariye in the fifth round of the 2019 draft out of Penn State, and 2021 is the season Oruwariye in which he’s become one of the league’s primary playmakers at his position. Only Trevon Diggs (10) and J.C. Jackson (seven) have more interceptions than Oruwariye’s six, and he’s not a boom-or-bust guy, either — Oruwariye has allowed 41 catches on 69 targets for 582 yards, 154 yards after the catch, two touchdowns, and an opponent passer rating of 60.2. He’s done all that on a defense that currently ranks 29th in Defensive DVOA, and 26th against the pass.  Who’s off the roster? Darius Slay. The former Lions cornerback, who now plays very well for the Eagles, isn’t quite at Oruwariye’s level, with three picks, three touchdowns allowed, and an opponent passer rating allowed of 76.2. Great stuff, but not better than the guy we’re replacing him with.):  https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/lists/nfl-pro-bowl-snubs/
