NFL Week 17 Defense Rankings (28. DETROIT LIONS (UP 3):  The Lions certainly play hard for head coach Dan Campbell, but they don’t necessarily play well, especially on defense. There isn’t a member of the unit with an overall PFF grade this season over 77.0, and just one full-time starter is even above 70.0. The biggest issues have come in coverage, where the Lions have allowed a 17.3% explosive pass rate, 30th in the NFL. Only the Atlanta Falcons are generating pressure at a lower rate than Detroit, which has applied heat on the quarterback just 24.3% of the time.):  https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-week-17-defense-rankings-2021

One thing we learned about each team (Detroit Lions - Amon-Ra St. Brown will be a household name. He's quietly had a heck of a rookie year, emerging as the Lions' top wideout even with mostly mediocre QBs throwing him passes. Get him some help, and he'll break out even more.):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/one-thing-we-learned-about-each-nfl-team-in-week-16-of-2021-season-chargers-saints-are-in-trouble/

QB Power Rankings 2021: Dak Prescott and Joe Burrow have a happy holiday (23) Jared Goff, Detroit Lions (Season: 13 GP | 231.3 YPG (16th) | 67.0% (11th) | 4.2 avg CAY (29th) | 3.7 TD% (22nd) | 1.7 INT% (T-6th) | 87 rush yards (23rd) | 0 rush TDs (T-27th)):  After missing last week’s game, Jared Goff returns under center ahead of Week 17. And he’ll be coming off his best outing of the season after throwing 3 scores against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15. With the way Seattle’s defense played against the Bears last week, I expect Goff to pick up where he left off.):  https://www.profootballnetwork.com/qb-power-rankings-2021/2/

QB Power Rankings: Joe Burrow climbs in top 10 (24. Jared Goff QB:  Dan Campbell, asked if Goff could return as the Lions' 2022 starter, says: "I don't see why not." Talk about a ringing endorsement! (+1)):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-week-17-qb-power-rankings-joe-burrow-josh-allen-climb-in-top-10-as-kyler-murray-baker-mayfield-slide/

QB rankings, 1-32: Burrow and Allen crash top five! (30. QB Tim Boyle (2021 stats: 3 games | 68.4 pct | 264 pass yds | 4.6 ypa | 1 pass TD | 3 INT | 0 rush yds | 0 rush TD | 0 fumbles):  Boyle's first start of the season -- against the Browns back in Week 11 -- was a fiasco. His second start -- this past Sunday against the Falcons -- was solid enough, until the game-ending interception in the red zone. Jared Goff is in line to return to action this week after clearing COVID protocols.):  https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-qb-index-week-17-2021-season-rankings
