NFL Rookies: Top 15 highest-graded players in Week 11 (5. EDGE AIDAN HUTCHINSON, DETROIT LIONS (85.6): Hutchinson is still struggling to make a consistent impact as a pass-rusher, so the Lions rookie made his presence felt in coverage. He picked off a pass for the second time in three games and also notched two run stops in an all-around performance.): https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-highest-graded-nfl-rookies-week-11-2022
RB Index, Week 12: Cowboys have perfect blueprint for maximizing Ezekiel Elliott, Tony Pollard (15. Jamaal Williams (2022 stats: 10 games | 159 att | 668 rush yds | 4.2 ypc | 12 rush TD | 9 rec | 57 rec yds | 0 rec TD | 1 fumble lost): Williams is balling at the goal line this season. He scored his 10th, 11th and 12th rush touchdowns of 2022 in Detroit's Week 11 win over the Giants -- it was the first three-TD performance of his career. Williams has been a big part of the Lions' three-game win streak, and he has a chance to add to his TD total Thanksgiving Day against the Bills.): https://www.nfl.com/news/rb-index-week-12-cowboys-have-perfect-blueprint-for-maximizing-ezekiel-elliott-t
NFL Week 11 heroes: Travis Kelce, Marcus Jones and Mike McCarthy among Sunday's biggest stars (5. Dan Campbell: Break up the Lions! How cool is this? Detroit (4-6) is on a heater! Dan Campbell's squad has won three straight games, with the past two coming on the road. That is something, considering the Lions went 0-11-1 in their first 12 road games under Campbell. And Sunday's result -- a 31-18 pasting of the Giants that was more of a blowout than that score might indicate -- felt like Campbell's most impressive win in the big chair. The Giants came into Sunday with a 7-2 record fueled by an offense that ranked third in rushing and turnovers. On Sunday, the G-Men managed just 89 yards rushing while committing a season-high three turnovers. This is a major credit to Detroit's defense, which has vastly improved over the course of the season. Rookie Aidan Hutchinson had another special game, notching his second interception and a fumble recovery. The No. 2 overall pick is really coming into his own. On offense, Jared Goff continues to rock steady -- he's leading the league's No. 6 offense, after all! And what a day from RB Jamaal Williams, who scored three more touchdowns on Sunday and now leads the entire league with 12 total scores. As anyone who watched Hard Knocks knows, Williams is an easy guy to root for -- and the heartbeat of this team. Suddenly, the Lions have become tough and clutch and, quite frankly, fun to watch. Kudos to Campbell, who has Detroit back on track in Year 2 of this rebuild.): https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-week-11-heroes-travis-kelce-marcus-jones-and-mike-mccarthy-among-sunday-s-bi
NFL Week 12 Rookie Rankings: Olave now top-ranked WR (6. Aidan Hutchinson: Hutchinson is quietly building a strong Defensive Rookie of the Year resume. He has compiled 5.5 sacks, two interceptions and one fumble recovery for the streaking Lions. 13. Kerby Joseph: Joseph logged his third interception in as many games jumping a route. He played more of a traditional safety role in the win over the Giants. The Illinois product also has two forced fumbles on the season.): https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-week-12-rookie-power-rankings-chris-olave-top-ranked-receiver-aidan-hutchinson-rises/
One thing we learned from each team in Week 11 (Detroit Lions - Jamaal Williams is Barry Sanders?: Not quite, but Williams accomplished a feat that only Sanders reached with the Lions. Williams had his fifth game with multiple rushing touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Giants, the only player to have that many games with multiple rushing touchdowns in a season not named Barry Sanders. Williams has six games remaining to set a franchise mark for multiple rushing touchdowns. He's also the first player since Sanders in 1991 to have 12-plus rushing touchdowns in a season (Sanders had 16 that year to set the franchise record). The No. 1 running back on the Lions, Williams has a legitimate shot at Sanders' franchise mark. He has six games to get five rushing touchdowns.): https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/one-thing-we-learned-about-each-team-in-week-11-dak-prescott-back-for-cowboys-eagles-additions-huge-impact/
Lions riding high; Vikings offense sputters; Justin Fields' status: NFC North notebook: https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/lions-riding-high-vikings-offense-sputters-justin-fields-injury-status
Extra Points: Cordarrelle Patterson Is the GOAT Kickoff Returner, Jeff Saturday Keeps Impressing, Tony Pollard Is a Star, and the Detroit Lions Are Frisky (The Detroit Lions Might Have Something - After the Lions pulled together two wins in a row, it might have been safe to say that head coach Dan Campbell wasn’t really on the hot seat. But we might be in a different environment entirely for Campbell and the Lions after their 31-18 win over the New York Giants. Detroit seems like a cohesive team now despite not having a quarterback they can count on. The defense is stringing together more consistent play than they did at the beginning of the season, though it does help that a team built solely around run defense happened to do well against a run-focused team like the Giants. They didn’t do well against Justin Fields and the Bears, but emerged with a win and played alright down the stretch. The Lions also happened to hold the Packers to nine total points. There might be something there for the Lions, who are 4-6 and technically in the Wild Card hunt.): https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-week-11-recap-2022/
