CBS Sullivan (Lions at Giants:  Similar to last week, this feels like a game where Saquon Barkley can truly dominate. The Lions are allowing 160.9 rushing yards per game this season, which ranks 31st in the NFL. However, Detroit's defense isn't just leaky against the run; it's just bad. It is last in points per game (29.3), yards per game (416.2), yards per play (6.5) and third-down percentage (51%). Detroit was only able to win last week thanks to a bad throw by Justin Fields that was returned for a touchdown. Fox sports (Prediction: Barkley was dominant against the Texans last week, with a career-high 35 carries for 152 yards and a touchdown, and there's no reason why he won't have a similar game against the Lions. And don't forget, QB Daniel Jones can run, too, though he hasn't been asked to do that much in the past two games. The Giants are still one dimensional thanks to a weak passing game, but that hasn't stopped them yet, and it likely won't here.  Sure, the Lions are capable of scoring points in bunches and have a powerful rushing attack of their own. It's possible they can push this game into a shootout, which they are capable of winning. But given the running games involved and the way the Giants defense is playing, this is more likely to be another close, slog of a game that comes down to the fourth quarter. CBS Brinson (Lions at Giants:  Cold weather in the Meadowlands, two very conservative head coaches and everyone wanting some scoring despite the point total being 45. One of my most famous sayings that should eternally be attributed to me is "sometimes a line is just a line." I ignored it in Texas-TCU, and maybe I'm doing the same thing here, but this under feels so nice. The Lions hit overs early in the season, but have been 3-2 to the under in their last five and the Giants are a massive under team all season. Football Meteorology For 2022 NFL Week 11 (Detroit Lions at New York Giants (-3): Detroit is gunning for its first three-game win streak since 2017, and there is history on their side. That 2017 streak saw them win games in Weeks 9 through 11, with wins over the Bears and Packers. Guess who Detroit has beaten this year in Weeks 9 and 10?  Alas, the only Lions player left from that 2017 team is left tackle Taylor Decker. New York’s defense is really good at limiting YAC and has found more ways to generate pressure lately, though they’re still terrible (league-worst 5.5 YPC allowed) against the run. Detroit can win if Jared Goff avoids mistakes and the improving, but still porous, Lions defense can force Daniel Jones into a couple of big ones. It could happen. Giants 24, Lions 20: How do you slow down a high-scoring offense? Well, first off, the challenge is on Wink Martindale's defense to get after Lions quarterback Jared Goff, who does not fare well against the blitz. Secondly, the Giants can keep Detroit on the sideline if they run the ball as well as they did last week. Another factor: the weather is expected to be in the mid-to-high 30s with winds gusting as strong as 20 mph. Justin Fields gave the Lions fits with his running ability last week, and expect Daniel Jones to do the same, especially working in tandem with Barkley. SI Giants (Prediction - The Lions (3-6) might not have an as impressive record as the Giants (7-2), but don't let that fool you. Seven of their nine games have seen a difference of eight points or less.  As for the Giants, who no one is mistaking right now for a scoring machine, they have seen eight of their nine games decided by that same margin. That's probably among the many reasons why the Giants are favored in this game by a slim 1.5-point margin by the oddsmakers, who no doubt gave them the benefit due to the home-field advantage.  In the end, the Giants should be able to squeak out a win, but it's going to be interesting to see how much this week's game takes out of them when in four days, New York turns around and has to do it all again at Dallas in a key NFC East game on Thanksgiving.  Giants 24, Lions 20):  https://www.si.com/nfl/giants/gameday/why-giants-will-beat-detroit-why-they-wont-and-a-prediction
