Everything Dan Campbell Said After Lions Beat Buccaneers:  https://www.si.com/nfl/lions/news/everything-dan-campbell-said-after-lions-beat-buccaneers

How have Detroit Lions gone 3 years without back-to-back losses? What Dan Campbell said:  https://www.clickondetroit.com/sports/2025/10/21/how-have-detroit-lions-gone-3-years-without-back-to-back-losses-what-dan-campbell-said/

NFL tiers: From 'the fringe' to 'inner circle' (Tier 1: The inner circle - Bills, Chiefs, Lions, Rams.  Have the Bills looked like world-beaters this year? Not exactly. But armed with Josh Allen and always in the mix for the AFC title, they have to think that the only way their season could be considered a major success is if they finally break through and make -- and even win -- the title game.  The Chiefs are rounding into form, winning four of their past five games and looking as explosive offensively as we've seen them in years. Their defense has also stepped it up lately in a way that it hadn't early in the season. That unit is coming off its best performance of the season. We also know that the Chiefs are annually in the conference title game and have gone to three consecutive Super Bowls.  The Lions still have one of the best rosters in the NFL. They should get healthier over the course of the season and that should help their defense get back into fighting shape. Their offense is explosive as any in the league, and it can be ruthlessly efficient when set up in the right game script. They didn't get their chance last year thanks to injuries, but they have to be thinking big again.  The Rams could easily be 6-1 right now were it not for a blocked kick against the Eagles. Even without Puka Nacua, their offense just put up five touchdowns over in London. Their defense still has some question marks (namely at outside corner) but is a strong enough unit to make a run with Matthew Stafford nearing the end of his career.):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-tier-rankings-for-all-32-teams-from-draft-preparations-and-the-fringe-to-inner-circle/

Grading every first-round pick through Week 7 (28. Lions - DT Tyleik Williams Grade: B-.Williams is a bigger body whose primary responsibility has been occupying blockers and constricting the opponent's run game. Most of his seven pressures have been a result of playing to the whistle and progressively wearing the opposition down with power.):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/grading-every-first-round-pick-through-week-7-tyler-warren-emeka-egbuka-lead-strong-rookie-class/

Five things we liked and five we didn't in NFL Week 7 (Five things we liked in Week 7 - Dan Campbell's Lions. It's been 51 games since the Lions lost back-to-back contests, and they're 12-0 following a loss over that span.  Monday night, they did it with a bunch of guys you probably have never heard of.  Arthur Maulet joined the practice squad two weeks ago. He had five tackles and an interception.  Erick Hallett had never played a defensive snap in the NFL. He tied for the team lead with eight tackles.  Tyrus Wheat, claimed in late August after being cut by the Cowboys, had a half-sack in his entire career. He had 1.5 Monday.
Nick Whiteside II signed with the practice squad Oct. 1. He had never played a defensive snap for Detroit. He had three pass breakups.  They're playing because eight(!) members of their defensive secondary did not play due to injury. A ninth, Brian Branch, was suspended, and a 10th, Rock Ya-Sin, got hurt during the game.  Yes, the Buccaneers offense was down a ton of players, but that shouldn't take away from the effort from Campbell, defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard, the rest of the defensive staff and the players put in.  (P.S. I want to apologize to Jaxon Smith-Njigba for not having him in this section yet this year. He is a superstar.)):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-week-7-five-things-we-liked-and-didnt-like-including-jalen-hurts-career-day-giants-collapse/

NFL: 12 Teams Who Can Win The Super Bowl (3. Detroit Lions:  Jared Goff and the Lions have looked unstoppable this season, but can they handle the Commanders?  They are always a great team, but at home they seem to be unbeatable. The offense can beat you in so many ways, they can mehtodically drive down the field, or hit you with a big play at any time. Their secondary has been one of the most injured in the league, and they still sit at 5-2 after 7 weeks. The defense should only get better, and they’ll need to if they wqnt to win in January.):  https://www.thebiglead.com/nfl-12-teams-who-can-win-the-super-bowl/
