NFL.com Power Rankings (17. Lions:  Like the Saints, the Lions took this past weekend off at seemingly the worst time, right after a huge win. At least it provided receiver Marvin Jones and a few peeps on the defensive side the chance to get healthier for the back stretch. In theory, anyway, as this still constitutes an early off week. Surprisingly, shockingly, the pass rush has held its own, with 17 sacks through five weeks. That number looks even better when you consider that Detroit's opponents have only attempted 152 passes. That's one sack every nine pass attempts, an absolutely bodacious number. The Lions were 2-3 heading into their bye. That sounds nice, until you consider that their two wins were against the sleepwalking Patriots, who didn't try at all against them, and the Packers, who whiffed on 13 points worth of kicks via Mason Crosby. I'm not sure if the public buys into them yet, especially considering that there's no spread posted yet on the Miami-Detroit game.
