MLive's Week 8 power rankings: Lions continue to climb after first road win (13. Lions:  The wins over the Patriots and Packers will get more hype, as they should, as they were everything the Lions in recent years have not been able to pull off very much. But Sunday's road trip into upper-80s heat against a team that plays so well at home showed off where this team has improved in a few different places. The running game was the most obvious, as it had the ability to run it up and down and seal a game on the road, something that seemingly never happens for the Lions. The defensive line play was better as well, making the defense a little more manageable.
