Top-10 worst wide receiver corps: Teams that need serious help in the 2021 NFL draft (No. 1 - Detroit Lions:  Not only are the Lions clearly the worst wide receiver corps in the NFL right now, but you can also argue there’s a decent gap between them and the rest of the league.  Detroit had to sign veterans Breshad Perriman and Tyrell Williams in free agency just to qualify as a non-expansion-team-level receiver room. They’re in the brutal position of having neither a starting-caliber veteran nor a promising young player on the roster. Every team that follows the Lions on this list at least has one of the two.  The Lions own the seventh pick in Round 1 and they could be tempted by Ja’Marr Chase if he fell there. But this entire roster is in such bad shape that taking a receiver in the top-10 would be aggressive. It’s more likely they give the WR room the reinforcements it desperately needs at 41st and 72nd overall.):  https://sports.yahoo.com/top-10-worst-wide-receiver-corps-these-teams-need-serious-help-in-the-2021-nfl-draft-175613302.html

Taking a look at the top 10 picks, with 16 days to go (No. 7, Lions: They have plenty of needs. It will be interesting to see what they do if Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields remains on the board. Will former OSU standout Chris Spielman, who has much more power and influence in the building than most realize, be able to resist drafting Fields? Jared Goff seems to be a short-term fix. If he flamed out in L.A., why would he be expected to perform significantly better in Detroit? Thus, if Fields is there, maybe he’s the pick.):  https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/04/13/taking-a-look-at-the-top-10-picks-with-16-days-to-go/

Ideal landing spots for the top WRs in the 2021 NFL Draft (DeVonta Smith - Detroit Lions:  The Lions could very well take one of the quarterbacks with the No. 7 pick in the NFL Draft, or they could trade back. But after losing both Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones Jr. to free agency, the team needs some wide receiver help.!  Enter DeVonta Smith. The Heisman Trophy winner could immediately become the No. 1 target in Detroit and give Jared Goff a deep threat in the passing game. Smith would play opposite Tyrell Williams and join a solid, young playmaking corp of running back D’Andre Swift and tight end T.J. Hockenson.):  https://www.audacy.com/971theticket/sports/detroit-lions/gallery/ideal-landing-spots-for-the-top-7-wrs-in-the-2021-nfl-draft
