Top 15 NFL rookies through Week 3 (11. G Tate Ratledge, Detroit Lions (74.0).  Ratledge dominated against Baltimore’s defensive line, grading out as Week 3’s second-best guard (91.4). While he finished with a 68.5 PFF pass-blocking grade, he was unbeatable as a run blocker, recording an 86.1 zone PFF run-blocking grade across 18 snaps and leading the position with a 93.5 gap PFF run-blocking grade across 16 snaps.  The second-round pick from Georgia is the highest-graded rookie guard through three weeks. Ratledge owns a 54.8 PFF pass-blocking grade, having surrendered five pressures at a 4.9% rate. Run blocking has been his strength, as he holds a 75.9 PFF grade in that department (tied for sixth overall). He boasts a 74.7 PFF run-blocking grade in zone schemes (eighth best) and an 82.1 mark in gap schemes (second best). The new offensive line is taking big strides. The pass rush came up with seven sacks, and the linebackers and defensive line did a great job of corralling Jackson and Derrick Henry as runners. Dan Campbell spoke many times about how proud of his team he was, and he's right. Fixing Arnold's struggles, though, is next on the to-do list. He's allowing the sixth-most yards per attempt as the primary defender (10.6) among 77 cornerbacks who have been the primary defender at least 10 times. NFL Game Recaps: Week 3 (Lions 38, Ravens 30:  We had a glimpse of Baltimore’s struggles early in this game. The contest was tied at seven, and Baltimore pinned Detroit deep in its own territory. It looked like the Ravens would force a punt when the Lions were in a third-and-long at their own 4-yard line, but Detroit converted a first down and went on to score a touchdown on the possession that spanned 98 yards and nearly 11 minutes on the game clock.  The Ravens couldn’t get off the field for most of the evening, as Detroit gashed them on the ground with their two talented running backs. It was quite apparent that the Ravens missed Pro Bowl defensive tackle Justin Madubuike and linebacker Kyle Van Noy, as their ground defense was miserable without them. Jaire Alexander’s absence in the secondary was also impactful.  Meanwhile, the Ravens couldn’t run at all. Derrick Henry was stymied in the backfield and fumbled once again while down 28-24. Lamar Jackson, meanwhile, had some great deep throws in this game, particularly to Mark Andrews and Rashod Bateman, but took seven sacks, two of which were losses of 19 and 18 yards. Jackson couldn’t even scramble, as Detroit’s defensive line locked him down and got a bit lucky with some shoe-string tackles.  Despite this lopsided affair, the Ravens trailed by just seven in the fourth quarter with possession. They were forced to punt, however, and while it appeared as though they also forced Detroit to punt on fourth-and-2, the Lions went for it and converted it with a Jared Goff pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown. 2025 NFL QB Rankings: Caleb Williams, Sam Darnold on the Rise, Daniel Jones Cementing Himself As Early MVP Candidate (3. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions - 2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 91.8 (A-).  Last Week’s Ranking: 6.  The league leader with a 77.6% completion percentage, Jared Goff has been operating at an extremely high level to start the year. After a stellar outing in Week 2, he managed to carry on that success in the Detroit Lions’ victory over Baltimore on Monday night.  Goff leads all QBs with 0.41 EPA per dropback. He’s the second-most efficient passer under pressure behind only Baker Mayfield, and he’s tied for the second-most passing touchdowns in the league with seven.
