Jack Campbell Rankings

Average Ranking (991/24):  41

Walter football (18. Jack Campbell, LB, Iowa.Previously: 18 Avg. 24.5 per 10.  04/19/23: Team sources really like Campbell and think he will go in the back half of the first round in the 2023 NFL Draft. They call him a taller version of Chad Muma and say he does some things that remind them of Luke Kuechly. The 6-foot-5, 249-pound Campbell has good size, strength, and enough athleticism to be a three-down starter. He is very instinctive, smart, and showed more fluid pass coverage skills than expected at the combine.  In 2022, Campbell collected 125 tackles, one pass broken up, one sack, one forced fumble and two interceptions. One of those picks was a superb grab off of C.J. Stroud. In 2021, Campbell amassed 140 tackles, a sack, forced fumble, two interceptions and five pass breakups.):  https://walterfootball.com/nfldraftbigboard

Trapasso Final NFL Draft Top 100 Big Board: Richardson at No. 1 (19. Jack Campbell, LB1, Iowa - Comparison: Germaine Pratt.  Campbell isn't a blur on film. Everything else about his game is precisely what I look for in a true off-ball linebacker. He's disciplined but efficient against the run, understands route concepts and has the quickness to stay with pass-catchers in man. His ball skills are natural, and he rarely misses a tackle. Campbell's rarely out of position. He's a stud. ) (4-24-23):  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2023-nfl-draft-top-100-big-board-anthony-richardson-no-1-four-cbs-in-top-16-darnell-washington-as-te1/

FTW's 2023 NFL Draft Big Board: From Will Anderson Jr. to Blake Freeland (30.  EDGE Lukas Van Ness - Who is he? PFF's Top 200 (39. LB JACK CAMPBELL, IOWA:  Campbell is as reliable as it gets at the linebacker position in this class. And at 6-foot-5 and 246 pounds with NFL-caliber range, there's no debating whether his game will translate to the next level. Campbell finished 2022 with a 91.7 overall grade to lead all Power Five linebackers.):  https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2023-nfl-draft-board-big-board

2023 NFL Draft: NFL comparisons for the top 50 prospects (41. Jack Campbell, LB, Iowa: Karlos Dansby:  There aren’t a lot of linebackers who move as well as Campbell does at his height and weight, but Dansby was one. Selected in the second round of the 2004 draft by the Cardinals out of Auburn, Dansby proved able to do just about everything on the field at 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds. Campbell has that kind of potential — once again, let’s have him not think and diagnose quite as much once he gets the hang of his NFL defense.) Middlehurst-Schwartz NFL draft top 50 rankings: QBs Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud rank high – but not No. 1 overall (42. Jack Campbell, LB, Iowa:  Don't be deceived by his 6-5, 249-pound frame. Though Campbell might look the part of a throwback linebacker, his comfort dropping into coverage – especially in zone – make him a strong fit for today's NFL. Just don't expect too many explosive plays when he works downhill.):  https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/draft/2023/04/13/nfl-draft-rankings-2023-bryce-young-cj-stroud/11640565002/

DJ's top 150 rankings: 2 QBs fall; WR1 gap narrows (49. Jack Campbell:  Campbell is an off-the-ball linebacker with excellent size, instincts and range. He is quick to key and diagnose against the run. He’s a firm/reliable tackler in the box. He is excellent at sniffing out screens and has the size/speed to carry tight ends down the seam. He does have some issues redirecting in space both in coverage and run support. A two-time team captain, he is regarded as an outstanding leader. Overall, Campbell might not be a wow player, but he’s steady and dependable.) (4-24-23):  https://www.nfl.com/news/daniel-jeremiah-s-top-150-prospects-in-the-2023-nfl-draft-class
