3 things we learned from the NFL's 2025 Thanksgiving Day games (The Lions Might Not Be A Playoff Team - The Lions have been a feel-good story in recent years, making back-to-back playoff appearances after earning just three postseason bids since 2000, and in 2023, they advanced to their first NFC Championship Game since 1991.  Unfortunately, that success story might also be coming to a sad close this season. The Lions were felled by the Packers 31-24 in an NFC North showdown on Thanksgiving, which sent them to third place in the division and 7-5 overall. If the playoffs began today, they would definitely be on the outside looking in. While the Lions have all the talent in the world, they're inching closer to falling out of playoff contention and will need to rebound strongly to finish the season if they want to be playing in January.):  https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/touchdown/2025/11/28/three-things-we-learned-from-the-nfls-2025-thanksgiving-day-games/87502572007/

Lions Labeled ‘The Most Disappointing Team in the NFL’ After Disastrous Thanksgiving Loss to Packers:  https://www.profootballnetwork.com/lions-labeled-most-disappointing-team-after-thanksgiving-packers-loss/

Biggest Disappointment for All 32 NFL Teams: From A.J. Brown and Brian Thomas Jr. to J.J. McCarthy and Bo Nix (11. Detroit Lions:  The Offensive Inconsistency - Saying this about the ninth-ranked team on PFSN’s Offense Impact feels bizarre. But the gap between the Detroit Lions at their best and their worst has been a Grand Canyon-sized chasm. As a result, Dan Campbell has taken back playcalling duties, but to no avail.  While they have five finishes in the top 10 on a week-to-week basis, including two first-place performances, they have finished no better than No. 22 in the other weeks. That gap is far too pronounced and unbecoming of a team trying to reach the Super Bowl.):  https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-biggest-disappointment-2025/

Biggest X-Factor for All 32 NFL Teams: Brian Thomas Jr., Lamar Jackson, and Jordan Love Headline List (11. Detroit Lions - The Offensive Line.  The Achilles’ heel of the Detroit Lions’ offense in recent years has been putting pressure on Jared Goff. Unfortunately, with the offensive line deteriorating, that has directly led to inconsistency plaguing the team, forcing Dan Campbell to take back play-calling duties.):  https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-teams-biggest-x-factors-2025/
