NFL pass-rusher rankings ahead of Week 11 (2 Aidan Hutchinson.  Season Highlights - Most Pressures: Aidan Hutchinson, Detroit Lions.  Hutchinson is coming off his least productive game of the season as a pass rusher (two pressures on 26 pass-rushing snaps) but still leads the NFL in pressures through Week 10 (57). Ten modern-day NFL stars with the throwback swagger to thrive in '95 (OL Penei Sewell
Penei Sewell - Mauls opponents like: Willie Roaf.  NFL teams were clamoring to find offensive tackles who could keep their quarterbacks safe in the 1990s. The proliferation of edge rushers that flooded the league starting in the 1980s -- stars like Lawrence Taylor, Bruce Smith and, later, Derrick Thomas -- made it imperative for every team to find pass-blockers who could hold up against the variety of power and speed aimed at them every weekend. There were some gifted tackles who came into the league in the '90s because of that trend, and Sewell would've fit right in with someone like Roaf, who won his second of four career first-team All-Pro nods in '95, or even Orlando Pace and Jonathan Ogden, who entered the NFL after this season but became linchpins of Super Bowl teams during their careers. Yes, we get it -- Sewell plays right tackle instead of left tackle, where those Hall-of-Famers played. You also must remember that Sewell was drafted as a left tackle when he entered the league in 2021. He only plays on the right side because Detroit already had a good player on the left, Taylor Decker.  Sewell was named first-team All-Pro in 2023 and 2024, and he likely would've earned that same honor had he been playing anywhere along the offensive line. His athletic ability is off the charts for someone measuring 6-5 and 335 pounds. Sewell is so blessed that the Lions actually let him carry the ball on an end-around option play in a Thanksgiving Day win over Chicago last year (Sewell lined up in the slot in that situation). As much as you can point to other talented linemen, it's hard to believe there is anybody else with his ceiling. Anytime you find a ballet dancer's feet on a giant with a nasty streak, you're going to find a generational talent. Upset Alert: Why these five favorites could fall in Week 11 (Detroit Lions at Philadelphia Eagles (-2.5) -Philly won a hard-nosed game against the Packers on Monday and now has a quick turnaround to face an equally tough NFC North foe in the Lions. The new-look Eagles defense with Jaelan Phillips looked great against Green Bay, but that was against a unit still finding its way without star tight end Tucker Kraft. It also didn't have first-round rookie wideout Matthew Golden, while trusted receiver Romeo Doubs left due to injury.  Facing a loaded Lions offense will be a much tougher task, with Detroit averaging 31.4 points per game (second-highest in the NFL). The Lions also have a league-best 13-2 record in prime-time games over the last four years, so they rise to the occasion in these settings. Meanwhile, the Eagles offense is still clunky, which could be due to Saquon Barkley not being as efficient as he was in 2024. Coming into Week 11, the Eagles running back is averaging just 3.9 yards per carry. NFL: Report card grades in the NFC North for Week 10 (Detroit Lions - Detroit put on an offensive display, finishing Sunday’s victory with 546 total yards. Jahmyr Gibbs continued his big season, totaling 142 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, 30 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown. Gibbs’ monster performance overshadowed quarterback Jared Goff’s big day. The Detroit quarterback completed 25 of 33 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns. During Sunday’s win, the Detroit quarterback completed a pass to nine different receivers, finishing with 320 passing yards and three touchdowns. Goff currently ranks 2nd in the NFL with 20 touchdown passes.  Detroit’s Jack Campbell Adds to Tackle Total - Detroit’s defense continues to be one of the NFL’s best. Sunday’s game saw Jack Campbell, the team’s leader in tackles, finish the game with nine total tackles.
