Points scored. After last season's record-setting, 15-win campaign in which Detroit led the NFL with 33.2 points per game, it has continued to put up points. The Lions' 30.4 points per game ranked second after 10 weeks. Detroit has scored 35-plus points in four games, including a 52-point output in Week 2 versus Chicago.  What has gone wrong? Campbell, the Lions' head coach, took over the offensive playcalling duties from Morton in Week 10, coming off a 27-24 upset loss to Minnesota on Nov. 2. Detroit was among the league leaders in total points per game but was still struggling to find an offensive identity outside of home run plays. "I think for us an offense, the word that sticks out to me is flow. I feel like we haven't been in the flow all year," receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown said following practice Nov. 6.  Key to second half: Keeping receiver Jameson Williams involved. In Weeks 9 and 10, Williams averaged 92.5 receiving yards and scored two receiving touchdowns. However, prior to that, Williams was averaging 41.3 receiving yards and had two receiving touchdowns in the first seven games. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions (Previous Ranking: 9):  There’s an argument that Jahmyr Gibbs should be higher on this list after a game with 172 all-purpose yards with three touchdowns, but his yardage totals are still a bit lower than some of those above him. NFL Game Recaps: Week 11 (Eagles 16, Lions 9:  Jared Goff has been an excellent quarterback over the years when protected in good conditions. Heavy pressure and poor weather have been his two foils, and he’d have to battle both in Philadelphia. The Lions could barely do anything in this game. They hit some big plays to Jahmyr Gibbs, but that was the extent of their offense. And even after Gibbs had those big plays, Detroit couldn’t convert those into points. The Lions constantly stalled on third and fourth down. They were 3-of-13 on third down and 0-of-5 on fourth down, and they also left some points on the table by failing to kick field goals in red zone.  Goff simply had no chance. He was constantly under siege and threw some horrible passes as a result. Jalen Hurts also saw some heat because he was missing right tackle Lane Johnson for most of the evening. QB Rankings:

2025 NFL QB Rankings: Josh Allen Jumps to No. 1, Sam Darnold Drops After 4-INT Outing vs. Rams (9. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions - 2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 80.5 (B-).  Last Week’s Ranking: 7.  Following a game against the Eagles, in which he completed only 37.8% of his passing attempts, it is hardly surprising that Jared Goff sees his QBi ranking slide a few spots as a result. While he still ranks in the top ten, the Nos. 8-14 spots are tight enough that he could easily fall out of that category with another down game.  Even with his bad outing in the Detroit Lions’ loss to Philadelphia, Goff has had a strong season thus far.
