Prisco's Better-Than Team for 2026 NFL Draft: The 20 prospects he's higher on than scouts (R Mason Thomas - 2024-25: 22.0 TFL, 15.5 sacks over past two seasons.  There have been some injury issues during his career, forcing him to miss time in each of the past three seasons. He missed three games last season with a hamstring injury. But watching the play in which he hurt his hamstring will only draw you to him even more.  It came against Tennessee when he picked up a fumble and raced 71 yards for a touchdown, looking like a running back breaking away in the open field. His lack of length can show up in run defense, and he needs to be better with his positioning to set a firmer edge, but he is very apt at shedding blocks and has a ton of pursuit range. Unfortunately, Thomas was not in the game long, but he made a big difference in the outcome. In the first quarter, Thomas showed his athleticism on an incredible play. After Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar was stripped, the ball bounced up and Thomas was able to catch the bounce about knee high with one hand.
