Senior Bowl 2026 Offensive Line Preview: Emmanuel Pregnon, Gennings Dunker Set the Tone (Parker Brailsford, C, Alabama:  Parker Brailsford is no stranger to high-stakes football.  He was a member of the Washington Huskies’ 2024 runner-up team and transferred to Tuscaloosa with Kalen DeBoer. Speed, leverage, tenacity, and quick processing are how the undersized (6’2″) center was a key piece on some of college football’s best offensive lines over the last three seasons.  However, “overwhelmed” is a word that can pop up with individual reps, indicating poor angles or mistakes. Because of his lack of size, you don’t see a particularly measured approach in a pass set that’s lightning quick. Alabama to be Without Three Offensive Starters Against Eastern Illinois (Alabama wide receiver Germie Bernard, tight end Josh Cuevas and center Parker Brailsford will not play against Eastern Illinois on Saturday, per BamaOnline. Bernard and Brailsford both got hurt during the Oklahoma loss last week but they also returned to the game. Neither injury is likely a serious and this is more of a precautionary move by head coach Kalen DeBoer.  DeBoer said on Wednesday that Brailsford's status was "a little bit up in the air," as he was wearing a boot on his right foot during a charity event earlier in the week.  Brailsford is one of the Crimson Tide's four captains and has proven to be an integral part of Alabama's success this season, both on and off the field. Offensive linemen we know the Lions have been scouting this season for the 2026 Draft (Parker Brailsford, C, Alabama:  The reason I think Brad Holmes keeps going back to Alabama is that the Tide has athletes at every position, even center. While Brailsford is a little undersized, his athleticism and awareness really open up the field for him and allow him to be a heads-up blocker who can be an NFL starter right away. The impressive thing to me is that he was really good for Washington in the Big Ten, but then didn’t miss a beat at Alabama in the SEC either. Two Alabama Players Win SEC Weekly Honors After Vanderbilt Win (Jefferson was named the SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. He shares the title with Texas A&M's Daymion Sanford. Brailsford was the sole winner of the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week honor.  The weekly honors are the first in the careers of both Brailsford and Jefferson, extending the Crimson Tide's total to five weekly awards this season.  Brailsford played all 69 snaps at center on Saturday and was graded out at an 88 percent by the UA coaching staff. He did not allow a sack, pressure or quarterback hit on the afternoon and registered a team-high 11 knockdown blocks against the Commodores. Brailsford also helped Alabama rack up 486 total yards, including 146 on the ground against the SEC's third-ranked run defense.) Alabama’s Starting Center Draws High Praise from DeBoer (One of the more underrated aspects that we overlooked when DeBoer took the job, however, was the guys from Washington that he'd bring in the transfer portal. The three headlining names were wide receiver Germie Bernard, center Parker Brailsford, and quarterback Austin Mack. The first two may have been two of the more underappreciated transfers to begin with, but there isn't a college football fan in the country who doesn't know the name Germie Bernard, and Parker Brailsford has not only become a captain of this football team as the anchor of the offensive line, but a rising star in the world of college football big boys.  Coach Kalen DeBoer has certainly taken notice of the Arizona native's junior campaign, saying, "He's a gem in every way, I mean, he's unreal. 2026 NFL Draft: College Game Recaps – Week 1 (There was a good draft matchup in this game with Alabama center Parker Brailsford taking on Florida State nose tackle Darrell Jackson Jr. Throughout the first half, Jackson was getting some penetration when he went against guards, but Brailsford was doing a solid job of stopping Jackson when they went against each other. In the third quarter, Brailsford was called for a holding, but otherwise he was very efficient and assigned soundly. Early in the fourth quarter, Brailsford stopped a bull rush from Jackson but had the extra help of both of his guards.  For the NFL, Brailsford has the ability to play. He is very quick at the point of attack and shows an impressive ability to sustain his blocks. Brailsford has good hand placement to get into the chest of defenders and latch onto them.
