Oregon Offensive Tackle Isaiah World's Senior Bowl Status Updated (Isaiah World Update - According to a graphic from the Panini Senior Bowl's X post, Oregon offensive lineman Isaiah World has withdrawn from the event. He suffered a lower-body injury in the Peach Bowl loss to the Indiana Hoosiers on Jan. 9. World, who played with the Nevada Wolfpack from 2021-24, started all 15 games at the left tackle position for the Ducks this season. He was named Second Team All-Big Ten Conference for his efforts.  The 6-8 and 318-pound talent only allowed 11 total quarterback pressures, one quarterback hit, six penalties, and one sack in 741 offensive snaps played. Per Pro Football Focus, World has an overall grade of 67.9, which ranks him No. 143 in the NCAA. He's more effective as a run blocker than in pass protection.) Oregon Offensive Lineman Duo On Verge Of Program History In 2026 NFL Draft (World-Beating Offensive Tackle.  World was one of the hottest commodities in the transfer portal over this past offseason when he transferred into Oregon from Nevada. The Southern California native was ranked as the No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 2 player in the transfer portal according to 247Sports' rankings.  Since arriving in Eugene, World has been a big piece of the Ducks' offense. As the starting left tackle, he's played a key role as quarterback Dante Moore's blindside protector. Apart from an off game in the loss to Indiana in the regular season, World dominated his regular season competition after making the jump from Group of 5 to Power 4. Against Texas Tech in the CFP, World and the entire Ducks line had trouble slowing down the Red Raiders' pass rush.  Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN has World listed as his No. 8 offensive tackle in his latest positional ranking. He has the size to succeed at the next level with his 6-8, 318 pound frame. 2026 NFL Draft: PFSN’s Consensus Top 10 Offensive Tackles Include Caleb Lomu, Spencer Fano (5. Isaiah World, Oregon:  Like Proctor, Isaiah World was another lineman who graded in the top five in two separate consensus rankings but was projected to kick inside in the other. After a solid tenure at Nevada, he transferred to Oregon and displayed the same upside on tape in 2025.  Listed at 6’8″, World is a tall offensive tackle with prototypical length for his position. He combines his elite size with rare movement skills for his size, as he’s explosive off the line of scrimmage and moves with impressive foot speed in pass protection. His pad level is a concern that limits how much he maximizes his strength, but if he can improve it, he has a very high ceiling in the NFL.) 2026 NFL Draft Stock Report (Down - Isaiah World, OT, Oregon, Alex Harkey, OT, Oregon:  World and Harkey really struggled against Texas Tech and their talented defensive line. Both really struggled with David Bailey and looked almost incapable of blocking him. World has a good skill set with size, strength, quickness, and athleticism. But he played at Nevada for years and has not had a lot of tests against elite NFL-caliber competition. This tape showed that World needs development and is more of a backup to start out his career with the potential to develop into being a starter. This tape will cause more projections of World as a day-two pick from pro teams. This tape makes Harkey look more like a guard for the NFL. He could be a mid-round or day-three pick. Tony Pauline’s Orange Bowl Mock Draft: Jacob Rodriguez & Kenyon Sadiq Battle For Top Spot (Prospects I Expect To Have the Biggest Game - Isaiah World, the top left tackle on my board who came to Oregon by way of Nevada, will be charged with slowing down, if not stopping, the lethal Red Raiders pass rusher duo in David Bailey and Romello Height, both transfers.  Bailey, who came from Stanford, totaled 17.5 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks this season while being credited with 13 hurries. Height’s numbers include 10 TFLs, eight sacks and 13 hurries, totals that stand by themselves were it not for Bailey’s performance.World has improved every aspect of his game this season. He’s a terrific pass protector who uses footwork, agility and arms that measure 34-½ inches to shut down edge rushers.  He’s a mobile blocker with the ability to quickly move his 320-pound frame to the second level, block in motion and take linebackers from the action. More than anything else, I’ve been impressed with the nastiness World has shown in his game this season.  This will be one of the best matchups in all of the College Football Playoff, and one that scouts will be keying on.) 2026 NFL Draft: College Game Recaps – CFP Quarterfinal (There was a great draft matchup in this game with Texas Tech edge rusher David Bailey taking on Oregon left tackle Isaiah World and right tackle Alex Harkey. Bailey looks like a top-16 pick for the 2026 NFL Draft, while World could be an early-rounder, and Harkey has mid-round potential. Overall, this tape will help Bailey, as he had his way with both Oregon blockers.  Early in the first quarter, Bailey used his speed to blow by right tackle Alex Harkey and rip down Moore for a third-down sack. On the next possession, Bailey showed his explosiveness with a leaping pass breakup. Late in the second quarter on a fourth-and-goal, Bailey read a stretch play well flowing with the line and then made a leaping pass breakup to deny Oregon points. In the first quarter, World tackled a pass rusher to draw a holding penalty. On the next possession, a defensive end chopped World’s hands away and tracked down Moore for a sack. On a third down, World was beaten by a spin move that helped chase Moore out of the pocket. Bailey had other plays getting the better of the World with a speed-to-power pressure, got past him with speed around the corner, and contributed to some stops in the ground game.  In the third quarter, Bailey had a good run tackle to set up a third down. In the next play, Bailey used a bull rush to push through World, and Bailey hit Moore just after the ball was released. While Bailey didn’t get the sack, he hurried the throw, and it was intercepted by Texas Tech.  Overall, this tape is going to help Bailey, as he was too fast, strong, and athletic for the Ducks’ tackles. They were holding on for dear life constantly, and Bailey made some huge plays to help keep his team in the game. Bailey limited the Ducks’ offense with sacks, batted passes, and pressures that created turnovers. This tape was phenomenal for Bailey and could help him to go in the top-10 next April.  This tape will hurt World. He really struggled with Bailey and looked almost incapable of blocking him. 5 offensive tackle prospects to watch in CFB Week 11 (Isaiah World, Oregon:  World played three seasons at Nevada, getting better by the year but bumping along as a largely unproven, penalty-prone prospect. Now that he's at a higher-profile school and blocking for a potential first-round QB, World has stepped up his game and his draft profile. He was my initial projection for the Lions' first-round pick in the initial mock draft. Having said that, World often projects as a Day 2 pick at this point.  Oregon's left tackle has shown outstanding short-area quickness for a taller tackle. His hand usage keeps getting better. A rough outing against Penn State cooled the growing buzz, but World has bounced back nicely and has traits that are eerily reminiscent of Taylor Decker coming out of Ohio State. World and the Ducks get a real test against Iowa, a well-coached defense that figures to attack both of his shoulders and make him prove his vision and footwork are sharp.) 2026 NFL Draft: College Game Recaps – Week 5 (World had some plays that weren’t pretty, but he also had a lot of other plays where he won his block and kept a clean pocket for Moore. World was quick at the point of attack and showed the ability to fire to the second level in run blocking. He moves well for his size and is not stiff. World is massive, but he is not overpowering. He does more fighting, scraping, turning, and manipulating as a blocker rather than just knocking defenders off the ball. In overtime, Oregon ran behind World to get a short-yardage conversion that set up a first-and-goal. Thus, it would help World to get more functional strength for the NFL.) 2026 NFL Draft: College Game Recaps – Week 2 (Oregon left tackle Isaiah World cruised over Oklahoma State. World did a nice job of winning his blocks in both phases. In the second quarter, World had one underwhelming play where he slowed up a speed rusher enough for a long touchdown pass, but the rusher did get their hands on quarterback Dante Moore just after ball was released. World did a good job in the ground game of pushing around his defender and opening holes at the point of attack. He helped the Ducks run for over 300 yards with five rushing touchdowns. World packed a real punch and rocked a defensive end on a goal-line touchdown run. It will be interesting to see how World plays when he sees some future pro edge rushers.)
